HELP CENTER
HOW LONG DOES EACH THERAPY SESSION TAKE , HOW OFTEN & FOR HOW LONG?
Standard consultation lasts approximately 50 mins. How often you might need sessions depends on your personal circumstances. For example, sessions might be weekly to begin with and then, fortnightly, monthly etc. It really varies depending on the individual.
DO YOU USE COGNITIVE BEHAVIOUR THERAPY TECHNIQUES?
Yes! I have also been trained in other evidence-based approaches and can tailor sessions to your needs.
DO YOU OFFER SLIDING SCALE RATES?
My services are not able to be bulk-billed.
DO YOU OFFER TELEHEALTH?
Absolutely! Due to COVID-19 psychologists are able to offer their clients phone or videoconferencing consultations. Telehealth is confidential and easy to use. Up to 10 Medicare rebates for Better Access to Mental Health Telehealth consultations are now available for eligible people!
Why Is this fantastic news?
-
There is no need to travel, you can access therapy in the comfort of your home or work, or another place that is quiet and confidential.
-
It eliminates the problem of attending your appointments if you have mobility problems, anxiety issues that makes it difficult to leave home, or are geographically remote.
-
You will save hours of your time and $ not needing to physically travel.
-
As you will choose your location there’s no need to worry about bumping in to people you know.
-
Telehealth entitles eligible people to the same Medicare rebate as face-to-face therapy, with the same clinician.
